Darby - Population 883 Darby is on the southern end of the Bitterroot Valley. It’s a sleepy little town flanked by 2 mountain ranges and the highway dividing Main Street. You’ll find the best antique shops in Montana that stretches for an entire block of this small town. Indulge yourself in some homemade fudge, candy or ice cream as you walk along the rustic boardwalk and visit the shops, restaurants, and saloons along Highway 93. Recently, the town has been put on the map thanks to the hit tv show, Yellowstone, which was filmed at a ranch in Darby.
